祖贊為一宗情殺案擔任辯方大律師，況天藍（楊怡飾）則擔當檢控官，二人在庭上各不相讓，在庭外卻牽手午飯，原來他們是一對同居情侶。天藍是一名爽朗率直、對工作充滿熱誠的檢控官，因工作與祖贊認識，二人被對方的才華和性格互相吸引，終發展成同居情侶。祖贊認定天藍便是他生命中的真命天「女」，萌生求婚的念頭，花盡心思向天藍求婚，但一場誤會最終令二人分手收場。……
